YANGON / TWANTE
Transfer to the Nanthida Jetty to board a ferry to cross the Yangon River and headed by local truck to TWANTE, small town famous for its pottery work for centuries. Visit the local pottery cottage industry, where many potters have their workshops set up. Local products such as bamboo, rattans, bamboo-trays, sieves, and bamboo-chairs are also produced there. Then visit to SHWE SANDAW PAGODA built by Mon over 1000 years ago, and BAUNG DAW GYOKE PAGODA also known as snake temple.
After lunch, visit to local market and observing at the fruit and vegetables lay out in baskets on the ground, dried fish, and tethered poultry. Return back to the jetty by car and by ferry back to Yangon. Transfer to your hotel.
